After introducing the Desmosedici Stradale engine with the Panigale V4 in 2018, Ducati has changed its strategy. They are utilizing the V4 platform for multiple lineups of motorcycles. After the Panigale V4 was the first attempt to introduce a V4 engine in a Ducati motorcycle. The new powerplant took the motorcycle world by storm. The punchy and aggressive power delivery of the engine impressed everyone on board. Not only the motorcycle enthusiasts but the regular riders were impressed with the new motor. From its release, Yamaha MT 10 was renowned as the willie monster. Its cross-plane crankshaft and torque feel created a distinctive characteristic compared to the race version R1 and R1M. After releasing the latest generation R1 and R1M in 2015, Yamaha released a road-focused hyper-naked version in the form of MT 10. The first unite came out of the factory in 2016. That model got some design tweaks over the years. Alongside a regular version, Yamaha also introduced an SP version with premium Öhlins electronic forks and some upgraded components.
